Meet the Team

With years in the field and a hands-on approach, our team focuses on building reliable, honest gun dogs through proven training methods and real hunting exposure.

Ethan Galloway

Ethan Galloway is the founder and primary trainer of Bottomland Gun Dogs, where faith, family, and responsibility guide every aspect of the program. Raised around the outdoors and working dogs, Ethan believes a truly great dog should be more than a skilled hunter—it should also be a trusted, well-mannered family companion.

Ethan’s training philosophy is built on structure, consistency, and clear communication, with deep respect for each dog’s natural instincts and individual temperament. His goal is to develop dogs that are confident and capable in the field, yet calm, obedient, and reliable in everyday life. Whether working birds or relaxing at home, he focuses on creating dogs that know when to work and when to settle.

As the founder of Bottomland Gun Dogs, Ethan also oversees the breeding program, carefully selecting dogs based on health, temperament, and proven working ability. Guided by faith and a strong sense of stewardship, he is committed to ethical practices and producing dogs that will serve their families faithfully for years to come.

When he’s not training, Ethan spends his time outdoors or with his family—continuing to refine his craft and uphold the values that shape Bottomland Gun Dogs.
